Project Steps:

Step 1 - Load Sponge
Pour ½" of glaze mixture into deep end of tray. Dampen sponge in water and squeeze out excess. Lightly dip part of the sponge in glaze. Blot off excess.
 
Step 2 - Apply Sponge Texture
Press sponge lightly against wall to create an overall texture and pattern. Allow some of the base coat to show through. Rotate position of the sponge to avoid repetitious marks and to vary the pattern. Work approximately one square yard at a time before moving to next area
 
Step 3 - Reload Sponge
Reload sponge and cover an adjoining are as in Step 2.
 
Step 4 - Work Sponging on Opposite Walls
Work on opposite walls first. Then complete adjacent walls.
 
Step 5 - Apply Different Sponge Colors
After color has dried, apply additional colors one at a time in the same manner.

HELPFUL HINTS
Use a clean roller tray and sponge for each glaze color.
Work difficult corners and edges first. It will help to use a smaller pieces cut from the sponge or a small brush for these hard to reach areas.
Don't overload glaze on the sponge. Blot off excess
Corrections can be used using the base coat color and a fresh sponge.
Stand back frequently to judge uniformity of your finish.
